About Us
Nova Copper Inc. is a privately held junior mining company with 100% control and ownership of three mineral exploration developments related to a genetically-linked porphyry-epithermal system spread out over a contiguous 26 square-kilometer property near Sydney, Nova Scotia. Development boundaries are delineated based on geochemical signatures and current stage of exploration:
- [Mid- to Advanced Stage] The historic Coxheath Copper Mine site is located at the heart of the linked system, within what is referred to as the Coxheath Copper Project, hosting multi-percent copper values in spectacular veins of tourmaline, bornite, and chalcopyrite.
- [Mid-Stage] Southwest of the Coxheath Copper Project is an adjacent group of claims referred to as the Sydney Copper Project, representing the main, gold and molybdenum-rich porphyry copper system.
- [Early Stage] Northeast of the Coxheath Copper Project is an adjacent group of claims referred to as the Eastern Gold and Eastern Industrial Projects, representing the epithermal expression of the porphyry system, including a high-quality pyrophyllite deposit at surface.
The projects are endowed with access to government-maintained highways to the property, a network of historical drill roads and three-phase pole and hydro line power through the property, and multiple commercial shipping terminals within 20 kilometres of the property.
Nova Copper is focused on sustainable exploration and mining of Canada’s critical minerals, with ESG initiatives designed to provide maximum benefits to the environment and stakeholders.
